Terms of use
Last updated 19 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and the person who runs Reveal Sky, who runs Reveal Sky from the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). By hosting a reveal, joining one, or sealing an answer, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
The service
Reveal Sky lets a host invite guests to a live reveal: a keeper seals the answer, guests guess, and everyone sees the answer at the same moment. Reveal Sky is free. We may change, pause or stop features, and we’ll give hosts reasonable notice of anything that affects a reveal they’ve scheduled where we can.
Who can use it
- Hosts must be 18 or over and sign in with an account that is theirs.
- Anyone a host invites can join as a guest. Children under 13 should ask a parent or guardian first.
- When you create a gender reveal you confirm you’re one of the expecting parents, or have their permission, and consent to Reveal Sky handling the pregnancy details involved.
Laws on revealing a baby’s sex
Some countries make it illegal to tell parents the sex of their baby before birth (for example India, under the PCPNDT Act). Don’t use Reveal Sky for a gender reveal where that would break the law. We block gender reveals from places where we know it’s illegal, but it’s your responsibility to follow the law where you and your keeper are.
The answer
The keeper (or the host, if they already know) enters the answer. We can’t see it or check it, so we aren’t responsible for it being right.
What you share
You keep ownership of what you add: names, messages, photos and reactions. You give us permission to store it and show it to the people taking part in the reveal (and, after the reveal, to anyone with its link), only to run Reveal Sky. That permission ends when the content is deleted.
You must not use Reveal Sky to share anything that:
- is illegal, or encourages or helps anyone break the law;
- is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual or violent;
- is someone else’s private information, or a photo you don’t have the right to share;
- impersonates someone, or is spam.
And don’t try to read a sealed answer early, get into someone else’s data, or disrupt a reveal or the service. Scan photos should have personal details (like names and hospital numbers) covered: the keeper’s screen helps with this.
How we keep reveals safe
- An automatic filter turns down offensive names and messages, and limits how often people can join and react.
- Hosts can remove any guest from their reveal, and a removed guest can’t rejoin.
- Each reveal is private to people with its link, and links can’t be guessed. Hosts can replace the link at any time.
- We may remove content, remove guests, or suspend accounts that break these terms. We’ll explain why unless the law or someone’s safety stops us.
Reporting a problem
If you see something on Reveal Sky that’s illegal, harmful or breaks these terms, email [email protected] with the reveal’s link and what’s wrong. We’ll look at every report promptly, remove illegal content as soon as we know about it, and tell you what we did.
If we removed something of yours or restricted your account and you think we got it wrong, reply to our message or email us. We’ll look again and tell you the outcome. You can also complain to us about how we handle reports and these terms at the same address.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time. Hosts can delete a reveal, or their account and everything in it, from the Account page; guests can remove themselves from a reveal’s page.
Our responsibility to you
We work hard to reveal on time for everyone, with several fallbacks, but Reveal Sky is free and provided as it is. We can’t promise it will always be available, on time or free of errors, and we aren’t responsible for losses caused by things outside our reasonable control, or for indirect losses we couldn’t have expected.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We’ll update the date at the top, and tell hosts about important changes before they apply where we can. If you keep using Reveal Sky after a change, the new terms apply.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings there, and the law where you live still protects you. Please contact us first at [email protected]: most problems are quickest to sort out directly.
